Sutherland is hiring a temporary IT / Help Desk Specialist for our Rochester NY office. The role focuses on delivering world‑class support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, while maintaining core infrastructure and assisting with ramp activities for new and existing business.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience with DNS, DHCP, GPO, and network troubleshooting, plus relevant certifications such as A+ and VMWare/AD/Exchange knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of practical experience supporting corporate technology infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, GPO and various network troubleshooting tools.
• Certifications in SCCM, VMWare, Active Directory, Exchange, Network+, imaging platforms, desktop/image engineering, scripting/batch files and PowerShell are a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world‑class customer support and service in the maintenance and repair of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of core infrastructure; assist ramp activity of new and existing business; liaise with IT and Service Delivery programs.
