You will report to the Editorial Director and help deliver clear, engaging journalism. The role emphasizes storytelling, writer development, and discerning trends, with the option to work remotely in a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience at a media company with at least one year of editing writers.

Responsibilities

• Edit and revise multiple articles with different writers; manage deadlines and process; review writers’ notes.
• Collaborate with fact checkers, copy editors, and producers for publication readiness.
• Coordinate with photo editors on photography plans.
• Report to the Editorial Director and uphold journalistic independence.
