Job summary

Joyce Steel Erection, Ltd. seeks a temporary crane operator for outage work at client sites in Texas. You will operate the crane under supervision, perform daily safety inspections, and ensure proper rigging and lifting procedures.

You will coordinate with truck drivers and helpers during assembly/disassembly and mentor junior operators. A clean driving record is required. Equal opportunity employer; pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check required; travel to multiple job

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Must possess NCCCO Crane Operator Certification.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, DOT physical, and background check.
• Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations for crane and rigging services.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under supervision.
• Inspect crane and components daily.
• Direct truck drivers and crane helpers during assembly/disassembly.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on crane and components.
• Mentor other crane operators and helpers.
• Maintain logs and hours.
