Job summary

The State of North Carolina's Office of State Human Resources, Temporary Solutions division, is seeking a Cook (S) for a temporary assignment at 2 Irvin Garrish Hwy., Ocracoke, Hyde County. The hourly rate starts at $20.00 based on education and experience.

Responsibilities include preparing and cooking all food during scheduled times, assisting the Food Services Supervisor with menu planning and recipe research, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen. Serv Safe certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in food preparation related to the job.
• Experience in menu planning and food service operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food during scheduled times.

• Maintain clean and sanitary food service area and dining room.
