Job summary

Carolina CAT Power Systems Division is seeking a Rental Sales Rep with Temperature Control specialization. You will be responsible for direct rental sales of temperature control equipment, including chillers and related accessories, while managing customer accounts and field visits.

The role requires consultative selling, knowledge of installation requirements, and the ability to pursue industrial accounts through site visits and calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in rental industry with temperature control equipment.
• High School Diploma required; four-year degree preferred in technical or business fields.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer base while building strong, lasting relationships.
• Qualify rental potential and determine needs; maintain customer lists and data.
• Prepare rental quotations, oversee entry of orders and manage major projects.
• Coordinate with Service Department on startups, testing, and operation.
• Travel to multiple territories; occasional overnight trips.
