Job summary

HomeFirst is seeking a Temp Case Manager for the SSVF program in the Bay Area. You will support participants in housing stabilization, assess needs, coordinate benefits, and document progress. This temp role requires Day shift work, up to 25% travel, and offers an hourly compensation of $33.17.

The Case Manager will handle eligibility, verification, enrollment, and ongoing needs assessments while collaborating with a Program Manager to meet service goals and adhere to grant requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year paid or volunteer experience in social work or related human services.
• Bachelor of Arts in Social Work or related field preferred, not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid CA driver's license and ability to be added onto agency insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 20-30 participants.
• Provide comprehensive case management services including initial eligibility, verification and enrollment.
• Ongoing needs and status assessments.
• Budgeting and administration of financial assistance.
• Information and referral, crisis de-escalation, safety planning and risk assessment.
