The Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to study biomechanics and mechanical loading in skeletal adaptation and injury. The role combines quantitative image analysis, computational modeling, and clinical investigation under NIH support.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related field, strong quantitative skills, and a proven publication record.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, kinesiology/movement sciences, or a related field
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Experience in quantitative image analysis, computational modeling, biomechanics (whole body and/or tissue mechanics), human physiology, or related areas
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A strong publication record and commitment to scientific excellence.
