Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks a Temp MT/MLT for the Cheboygan, MI laboratory. This on-site role covers afternoons with occasional weekend hours and involves routine testing, quality control, and reporting results for patient care.

The position requires ASCP certification and at least 2 years of MLT experience, including recent blood bank work. You will operate analyzers and maintain equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety in a clinical laboratory environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory procedures using analyzers, spectrophotometers and other equipment.
• Maintain quality results through standards and controls.
• Provide test results for patient diagnosis and treatment, analyzing blood cells microscopically.
• Prepare blood, plasma and platelets for transfusions by conducting blood group, type and compatibility tests.
• Ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment by calibrating, troubleshooting and maintaining records.
• Collect, analyze and summarize data to prepare reports on technological findings.
