This position requires working 20 hours per week, including varying weekday shifts and every Saturday. Branch hours are:

• Monday - Thursday: 9AM - 5PM
• Friday: 9AM - 6PM
• Saturday: 9AM - 1PM
• Sunday: Closed

Nature and Scope

Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services to members. Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
4. Experience or ability to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
5. Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, complying with all policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
6. Ability to stand for long periods.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Providing friendly, courteous, and expedient teller services resulting in a balanced cash drawer daily.
2. Cross-selling other member services.
3. Processing mail deposits and withdrawals.
4. Assisting in balancing the ATM, if not performed by an outside source.
5. Training to perform opening/closing duties, verify checks, perform overrides, and help in other branch positions as needed.
6. Attending training at headquarters or off-site locations as required.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.
