Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this job is to scan and/or enter numbers on register, lift and move goods, make change, bag orders, and complete special projects like restocking, replenishment of front-end items, cleaning, and assisting with carts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle transactions, tally items, give change.
• Bag items and manage carts when necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the role.
• Possess necessary technical training specific to this job.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Job involves continuous activity, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, walking for 45%.
• Category IV physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., static pull up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
