Job summary

TENCU is seeking a Teller Supervisor to lead the daily teller operations at our Bellevue Branch in Bellevue, TN. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes coaching staff, delivering exceptional member service, ensuring policy compliance, and driving branch growth.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, solid communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Occasional travel to TENCU's Main Branch may be required. Starting pay ranges from $24 to $27 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or coursework in Business Administration preferred.
• One year of management or supervisory experience required, plus some college coursework; OR three years of financial institution experience with at least two years of management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily teller line operations and support development of branch staff.
• Coach team members to deliver outstanding member service and achieve branch goals.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
• Monitor branch transactions, balancing activities, corrections, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and Internal Audit to maintain operational integrity.
• Communicate branch goals, performance expectations, and initiatives to staff.
• Assist with operational reporting, documentation, and workflow improvements.
• Support community engagement, business development, and marketing initiatives.
• Help maintain branch facilities, equipment, and supplies for a professional environment.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support branch and organizational success.
