Job summary

Citizens Community Credit Union in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a courteous Teller to handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and account inquiries. You will process transactions, balance cash drawers, and assist members with routine information and referrals to the Member Service team.

You will educate members on online and mobile banking, follow all security rules, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to six months of similar or related experience.
• Courtesy, tact and diplomacy essential in daily interactions.
• Ten-key calculator and computer keyboard skills required.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and checks.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information, directing to appropriate department when needed.
• Cross-sells credit union services and handles miscellaneous clerical tasks (typing, filing, phone).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
