Bank Iowa is looking for a Teller who will deliver friendly, accurate service while processing deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions. You will verify client identities, explain account details, and refer complex needs to the appropriate staff.

The role requires strong cash handling skills, basic banking product knowledge, and the ability to work with customers both in person and over the phone. Training is provided, with growth opportunities within the bank.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year cash handling/client experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposits; verifies amounts and records deposits.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals with identity verification.
• Counts currency, coins, and checks for deposits and prepares for shipment or bank records.
• Assists clients with safe deposit access and provides account information by phone or in person.
• Researches client account issues and resolves complaints; closes accounts per request.
