Job summary

Columbia Bank in Pompton Lakes, NJ is seeking an Universal Operations Specialist II to supervise teller operations and support Universal Banking training. The role includes daily consolidation of teller records, maintaining teller area security, and assisting in branch goals.

The position requires 2–4 years of teller and supervisory experience, strong banking product knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Regular full-time hours with a 40-hour work week and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years teller, platform and supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervises teller operations and schedules hours.
• Ensures daily consolidation of teller sheets and resolves problems.
• Maintains security of teller area, negotiable items, and vault contents.
• Approves transactions on selected deposits with verification of signatures.
• Performs teller activities and assists in new accounts as needed.
