Job summary

APGFCU in Maryland is seeking a friendly Teller to process member transactions, greet members, and provide accurate cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and other services in line with Credit Union policies.

You will balance daily activities, participate in branch end-of-day settlements, protect member information, and cross-sell APGFCU products while adhering to security procedures and federal regulations; a High School diploma and customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum six months customer service; six months cash handling preferred.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of financial institution procedures; basic debits/credits; PC and software applications; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of member transactions accurately and efficiently per credit union policies.
• Greet members professionally and process transactions within authority limits.
• Enter transactions into software applications and maintain accuracy under Teller Performance Standards.
• Balance daily activities and perform branch settlement tasks; support ATM settlement.
• Protect member information and identify elder abuse, counterfeit bills, and other scams.
