Job summary

OnPoint Community Credit Union is seeking a Teller to greet members, handle deposits and withdrawals, and provide friendly service in an in-store branch located inside a Fred Meyer or Safeway. You will cross-sell products and support efficient lobby flow while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with no banking experience required, but 6 months of sales or customer service experience is recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; cash handling experience preferred.
• Proficient counting cash, arithmetic, ten-key calculator and basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to cross-sell products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional member service with welcoming greetings and courteous interaction.
• Process teller transactions accurately and document them per procedures.
• Identify negotiable items, verify IDs, and address member questions with solutions.
• Assist with lobby traffic and educate members on services and tools available.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and stay within cash handling guidelines.
• Support cross-sales goals and refer or open product/service accounts as appropriate.
• Work up to four hours standing; lift up to 50-pound bags of coin when needed.
