Job summary

Idaho First Bank is seeking a Rover Teller to process transactions and provide frontline support to customers in a people-first banking environment. The role includes handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfers, and ATM duties, along with referrals to enhance customer relationships.

The position requires strong communication and computer skills, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and the ability to assist with online banking and disputes. Travel within markets may be required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-year previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with banking software and online banking support.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with daily transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfers, cashier checks, stop payments.
• Identify opportunities to refer additional products and services to enhance customer relationships.
• Provide support for online banking, statements, credit cards, and password resets.
• Balance and refill ATM, process night drop and ATM deposits.
• Handle cash within authority and adhere to Cash Control Policy.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with REG E and ACH disputes.
• Process account holds and customer requests for foreign currency and drafts.
• Conduct customer outreach to resolve non-posts and return items.
• Assist with Safe Deposit Box entry and payments.
• Complete BSA/AML reports and communications as needed.
• May work in New Accounts area or support business development activities.
