Job summary

First Interstate Properties, Ltd. is seeking a Teller at our Shenandoah, IA branch. The role focuses on delivering excellent client service, handling teller transactions, and building relationships to identify referral opportunities for additional banking products.

The position requires basic math, strong communication, and attention to detail. You will operate in a branch environment with standard bank procedures and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily teller transactions in lobby and drive-up.
• Provide outstanding client service and build client relationships.
• Process deposits, loan payments, checks, and withdrawals.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to bankers when needed.
• Record activities and referrals using 360View.
• Process credit card applications and special requests.
• Reconcile cash drawer and maintain cash supplies.
• Follow bank procedures and security controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect information.
• Participate in training and support team goals.
