Job summary

Westfield Bank is looking for a Teller to join our Retail Banking team in a full-time capacity. You will handle day-to-day transactions, assist customers with inquiries, and support product referrals to meet customer banking needs.

Key duties include balancing cash drawers, maintaining security, and ensuring compliance with BSA/AML and regulatory requirements. This role reports to the Branch Manager and may involve some travel within the branch network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Processes teller transactions and assists customers with inquiries.
• Maintains security of cash drawer and balances at end of day.
• Meets referral goals by recommending bank products to customers.
• Balances ATM and assists with Safe Deposit as needed.
• Completes BSA, AML, and regulatory training as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day-to-day transactions which include but not limited to; processing transactions such as deposits and withdrawals and assisting with customer inquiries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Provides information regarding bank products to all potential customers both retail and commercial.
• Independent performance of all teller transactions and related services.
• Maintains security of cash drawer.
• Proves cash drawer at end of day.
• Meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services to meet customers banking needs.
• Assists in resolving customer problems as they arise.
• May assist with balancing the ATM.
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit.
• Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
• Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
