Job summary

Westfield Bank is seeking a Part-Time Teller in Bloomfield, CT. You will handle daily transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, while delivering professional service to customers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of cash handling and customer service experience. You will work a set schedule with some travel within branches and support regulatory training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and professional service to customers by handling day-to-day transactions such as deposits and withdrawals.
• Maintains security of cash drawer and balances it at end of day.
• Meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services to meet customers' banking needs.
• Assists customers with Safe Deposit and resolves customer problems as they arise.
• May assist with balancing the ATM and complete required regulatory trainings (BSA, AML).
• Adheres to Westfield Bank customer service standards and bank policies.

Must be available to work the following schedule:

• Sunday: 9:45am - 1:15pm
• Monday: 9:45am -5:15pm
• Friday: 10:45am - 6:15pm
• Saturday: 8:45am - 1:15pm

Total: 22 hours/week

Position Summary

Provides prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day-to-day transactions which include but not limited to; processing transactions such as deposits and withdrawals and assisting with customer inquiries.

Essential Functions

• Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Provides information regarding bank products to all potential customers both retail and commercial.
• Independent performance of all teller transactions and related services.
• Maintains security of cash drawer.
• Proves cash drawer at end of day.
• Meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services to meet customers banking needs.
• Assists in resolving customer problems as they arise.
• May assist with balancing the ATM.
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit.
• Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
• Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
