Job summary

Northwest Bank in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Teller to join our retail network. You will welcome customers, process transactions, resolve problems, and educate customers about our products and digital offerings, while identifying referral opportunities.

You will balance drawers daily, participate in meetings, and ensure compliance with policies and security, while delivering our customer-first experience in person, by phone, and by email. Evening and weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Banking and/or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and visitors with questions, problem resolution, and other needs. Proactively engage with customers to understand needs and inform them of product/service features and benefits.
• Balance teller drawer daily and participate in office meetings/huddles, operations meetings, and dual control balancing of vault, ATM, and any other device.
• Deliver on our Northwest star experience and champion our customer’s financial wellness through delivery of exceptional customer experience – in person, over the phone, and through email communications.
• Protect the bank from unnecessary risk by following compliance, risk, and operational procedures.
• Work as a team with co-workers to complete daily tasks, demonstrate respect and professionalism, be prompt, and support management with special requests as needed.
