Job summary

Commercial Bank and Trust Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Teller in Memphis, TN. You will perform teller duties such as cashing checks, deposits, loan payments, and safe deposit rent, while also handling customer accounts and cross-selling bank services.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with the public is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs teller duties: cashes checks, accepts deposits and loan payments, and handles safe deposit rent.
• Opens new accounts; monitors check orders; cross-sells accounts; assists with IRAs and wire questions.
• Opens, balances, and closes Card Wizard Machine daily.
• Complies with CIP requirements.
• Scans teller work for Branch Capture and cleans the scanner.
• Balances ATM and cash vault on a rotating basis.
• Assists with opening and closing procedures.
• Orders office supplies as needed.
• Answers telephone and assists customer or transfers to the appropriate person.
• Seeks opportunities to expand banking relationships with customers.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
• Strives to improve efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
• Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
