Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a teller to provide quality customer service in a retail banking setting. You will handle cash, process transactions, and promote bank products while maintaining security and accuracy.

The role emphasizes compliance, daily balancing, and cross-selling opportunities, with on-site work at the Johnson City location. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior cash handling experience is preferred
• Customer service oriented with accuracy and integrity

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer with proper controls and adhere to audit and security policies
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, money orders, etc.)
• Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM transactions and entries
• Assist with vault responsibilities and deposit verifications as needed
• Maintain compliance with current guidelines and bank policies
• Promote bank products and refer clients to appropriate teams
