Job duties
A teller will have duties in the following areas:
Welcome members and guests to credit union.
Process cash transactions at the window, including deposits, withdrawals, share drafts, money orders, travelers checks, check withdrawals, bond redemptions and purchases.
Remove, log, and process night transactions.
Take name and address corrections from members for processing.
Provide information sought by members.
Develop a working knowledge of the credit union's computer system.
Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures.
Assist in any area as directed by Management or the Teller supervisor in a relief capacity.
Cross-sell all credit union services as appropriate.
Assure proper maintenance, cleanliness & security of work area, desks, equipment, etc.
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
