Job summary

Coastal Community Federal Credit Union in Houston is seeking a Teller to process member transactions, handle cash withdrawals and deposits, and support member engagement across the branch. You will follow established policies while providing courteous service and building member relationships.

The role requires cash handling experience, 6+ months of customer-facing work, and the ability to work in a team within a fast-paced environment. Most Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months’ experience interacting with customers/members or equivalent demonstrated through work experience or training.
• Member service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Experience working with others on a team to meet member needs.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
• Well organized, independent and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines.
• Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with members and colleagues.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
