Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Manager V in Austin to lead the DAP Analytics & Decision Support team. You will set strategic data goals, oversee reporting, and coordinate dissemination across programs.

This exempt, full-time role emphasizes data quality, policy-driven analytics, and stakeholder collaboration to improve health outcomes for Texans. Telework may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years college-level education or graduation in social/behavioral/natural sciences or related field. Master’s preferred.
• Four+ years of work experience with data collection, analysis, and/or dissemination of Medicaid, CHIP, SNAP, or TANF data preferred.
• Experience with large and complex databases and systems; ability to coordinate and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of program goals, standards, and metrics; monitor reporting compliance.
• Lead analyses and reporting on agency programs; collaborate with teams on data systems and policies.
• Prepare timely reports and respond to requests from executive management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate data governance and policy development for data dissemination and quality.
