Job summary

Thriveworks Tampa seeks a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person and telemedicine mental health care for adults and adolescents. You will perform assessments, create care plans, and prescribe medications as clinically appropriate, adhering to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Experience with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience preferred; 1 year in psychiatry required.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in-person and via telemedicine.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms when appropriate.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools per guidelines.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with clinic directors and staff as needed.
