Telephonic Client Manager - State and Local Government

About the Role

As a Telephonic Client Manager, you will manage, protect, and grow revenue by selling LexisNexis products, services, and content. You will contact prospects and existing customers, assess their needs, and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  1. Initiate and respond to inbound and outbound sales contacts with prospective and existing customers.
  2. Achieve and exceed monthly sales and KPI targets where possible.
  3. Accept orders, close sales, and maintain customer records on CRM systems.
  4. Record sales prospecting activities in tracking systems.
  5. Manage moderately complex territory accounts, products, services, and sales processes.
  6. Contact clients with moderate authority to set and negotiate service terms.
  7. Continuously enhance knowledge of the business, market, and account needs.

Requirements

  1. Ability to adapt communication style to the audience.
  2. Capability to develop competence through structured work assignments.
  3. Understanding of sales methodology and a proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  5. Broad knowledge of products and solutions.
  6. Extensive experience in telesales and selling subscription products.
