Texoma Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Telephone Operator to handle emergency calls and incoming lines from a busy hospital setting in Denison, TX. The role requires迅 fluency in English and excellent communication under pressure, with prior PBX or patient-facing experience preferred.

You will ensure callers are directed promptly and professionally, maintaining calm, clear, and courteous interactions while supporting fast response during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of PBX or customer service experience requiring extensive phone work.
• Reading and numerical competency.
• Ability to fluently speak and understand English. Must perform calmly, competently and quickly in emergency situations with sound judgement and good keyboard/computer skills.

Qualifications

Requires at least 1 year of PBX or customer service experience requiring extensive phone work. Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.

Reading and numerical competency.

Requires the ability to fluently speak and understand English. Must have the ability to perform calmly, competently and quickly in emergency situations. Ability to clearly articulate applicable information in a calm, competent and expeditious manner. Able to consistently handle stressful situations with professionalism and utilizes sound judgement. Must have excellent keyboard/computer skills, hospital experience preferred.
