Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to support the FAA’s communications infrastructure on-site at ZOA ARTCC. You'll analyze, maintain, and upgrade telecom and video systems, ensuring reliability and security for critical operations.

You will monitor vendors, perform moves and installations, provide end-user training, and generate reports. Strong IP telephony, PBX, AVAYA and ZOOM skills are essential, as is the ability to work after hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT related field desirable.
• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms; IP based telephony, PBX, digital voice platforms.
• Agency-specific security clearance: Public Trust and SECRET.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving; after-hours support.
• Voice and video technologies preferred.
• Location on customer site: ZOA ARTCC (FAA).

• Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications and video systems.
• Provides end-user training of telecommunications and video features and functionality.

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: Degree in IT related field desirable.
• Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms. IP based telephony, PBX platforms, Digital Voice Platforms.
• Security Clearance Level: Agency specific - Public Trust and SECRET
• Required Skills and Abilities: Communication and problem solving. After hours call out - support.
• Preferred Skills: Voice and Video technologies
• Location: On Customer Site: ZOA ARTCC (FAA)
