Aufgaben

• Run ECG strips per protocol; measure, analyze and interpret waveforms.
• Observe cardiac monitoring tracing for all patients on telemetry.
• Describe ECG rhythm characteristics and document rhythms per policy.
• Admit, transfer, or discharge patients from telemetry as applicable.
• Respond to alarms and changes in ECG rhythm, HR, BP, and SpO2 per protocol.
• Provide rhythm strips for medical records and maintain data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and report issues.
• Provide reports to relieving technician on significant changes.
• Clean equipment and maintain inventory according to standards.
