UCI Health in Irvine is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician to monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetric equipment, providing continuous observation and notifying RNs or physicians of changes as they occur. The role includes troubleshooting alarms and documenting rhythm strips according to unit standards.

Required qualifications include ECG certification by time of hire, a minimum of one year of rhythm monitoring experience, and availability to work weekends and rotating

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience monitoring cardiac activity
• Electrocardiography (ECG) Certification by time of hire
• Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays
• Basic Life Support

Responsabilités

• Monitors and accurately interprets cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment
• Provides continuous observation and identifies basic arrhythmias
• Provides prompt notification of changes/issues to the RN or Physician and troubleshoots false alarms and system issues
