Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Canton seeks a Telemetry Technician to monitor patient alarms, verify rhythms, and support RN staff on the 4th floor of Aultman in Canton, OH. This Per Diem/PRN role offers 12 hour shifts with day and night options and a $21.00 hourly compensation.

Responsibilities include watching monitors, interpreting EKGs, and ensuring alarms are addressed promptly. Qualifications include completing an EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days and a high school diploma; LPN/RN

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs and required competencies within 30 days of start date.
• Pass other tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Watch and respond to alarms continuously, verify rhythm identifications (basic, lethal, artifact).
• Maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond promptly to alarms.
• Complete EKG interpretations: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, ST segment and rhythm interpretation.
