Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform.
• Pass tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watching monitors and responding to alarms.
• Verify identification of rhythms and artifact; maintain EKG monitor alarms.
• Interpret EKGs: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, ST segments and rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
