Virtua is seeking a part-time Telemetry Technician to monitor ECGs, interpret rhythm changes, and support the healthcare team. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

The position offers a part-time schedule with day shifts and a competitive hourly wage. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and complete a basic dysrhythmia course.

Formación

• 3–6 months previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dysrhythmia and heart blocks and SPO2 monitoring with alarm response preferred.
• Strong organizational and interprofessional skills.
• Ability to determine appropriate action in complex situations.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously observes and interprets ECG monitors.
• Identifies and communicates changes to the RN; notifies staff of monitor problems.
• Documents calculations and interpretations on required forms.
• Demonstrates standard precautions and patient safety with equipment.
• Records information on forms in the department as needed.
• Assists with orientation and performance improvement activities.
