Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Harrisburg is seeking a Telemetry Technician for night shifts (7p-7a) with 3x12 hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. Compensation ranges from $20.70 to $25.25 per hour, with shift differentials and pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, interpreting EKGs, and coordinating with RNs to validate interpretations. Requires completing an EKG class within 30 days and passing required competencies.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass additional tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch and respond to alarms; verify correct rhythm identifications.
• Maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond promptly to all alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, PRI, QRS, QT, ST, and rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
