Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Latrobe is seeking a Telemetry Technician in Latrobe, PA, to monitor patient alarms and interpret EKGs. You will work full-time day shifts, with a compensation range of $18.00–$24.24 per hour plus shift differentials for weekends.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Must pass tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor alarms and respond promptly to ensure patient safety.
• Verify identification and interpretation of basic and lethal rhythms; maintain alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, intervals and QT/QTc.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
