Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Latrobe, PA is hiring a Telemetry Technician for the night shift. The role involves continuous monitoring, alarm management, and accurate rhythm interpretation to support patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass other required competencies on the education platform.
• Preferred background as LPN/RN with EKG training.

Responsibilities

• You will assume responsibility for continuously watching and ensuring appropriate and timely responses to alarms.
• Continuously observing all monitors and responding to alarms promptly and appropriately.
• Completing EKG interpretations including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QT, ST changes, and rhythm interpretation.
• Ensuring strip interpretations are validated by RN.
