Job summary

Inova Specialty Hospital in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shift. Compensation ranges from $23.15 to $28.00 per hour.

The Telemetry Technician will monitor alarms, verify basic and lethal rhythms, interpret EKGs, and coordinate with RN for strip validation to ensure timely patient care. Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred background as LPN, Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient ECGs and respond to alarms.
• Verify rhythm identifications and interpret EKGs.
• Ensure alarms are addressed promptly and appropriately.
• Coordinate with RN for strip validation.
