Job summary

Qualifications

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
ADN degree.
BLS certification.
ACLS within 1 year.
Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia within 1 year.
NIHHS Certificate within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process to provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, SRH policies and standard work.
Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel; communicate findings to appropriate person(s).
Adhere to the requirements for educational hours as outlined in the NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke Center.
Perform other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
