Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an Acute Care Tech I for the Telemetry Stepdown Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This PRN/Optional position covers nights from 6:30pm to 7:00am and supports the Cardiac Step-Down unit caring for patients with chest pain, post-MI, CHF, and arrhythmias.

Responsibilities include clerical and basic patient care tasks under RN supervision, with emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Maintains competency of tasks in which the PCA has been trained.
• Completes assigned tasks within required timeframe.
• Communicates effectively with others and coordinates with the healthcare team.
