Qualifications

• 2 years High School Education.
• Age 17 with work permit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of an RN. Completes assigned tasks within required timeframe.
• Maintains a safe environment; reports safety hazards and completes safety event reports as necessary.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and coworkers with respect and compassion.
• Performs supply, equipment, and environmental-related activities and ensures equipment availability for the next shift.
