Job summary

TriHealth - Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 11ABCD Telemetry Stepdown Unit. This on-site, full-time night shift offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and focuses on cardiac monitoring and high-acuity care.

The unit provides 39 beds with a collaborative team culture and growth opportunities. RN licensure, required degrees, and BSN within 5 years are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family.
• Plans care based on assessment and standards; updates plan as needed.
• Communicates plan of care to health care team and documents care.
• Safely administers medications and treatments and monitors effects.
• Trains and supports staff, serving as a resource in the unit.
