Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine personal care to patients under RN or LPN supervision. You will help maintain a safe environment and support nursing teams in a busy telemetry step-down unit.

Requirements include a valid CNA registry listing for VA/WV, and BLS certification. High school diploma preferred; opportunities for orientation preceptorship exist as you gain experience within the Valley Health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA registry listed on Virginia/West Virginia Board of Nursing as applicable.
• BLS Certification (AHA) required before orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine personal care duties for patients.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems to nursing staff.
• Support mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
• May act as a preceptor during orientation of new CNAs.
