Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide routine personal care to patients under RN/LPN supervision. The role supports the mission of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center, with opportunities to precept new CNAs as they gain experience.

Candidates must be a registered Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia and/or West Virginia, hold BLS, and have a basic understanding of patient growth and development to serve diverse populations within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Certified Nurse Aide on Virginia and/or West Virginia registry.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Experience with patient care and growth/development principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine personal care to patients.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems.
• Assist with orientation of new CNAs as a preceptor when trained.
