Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for the Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center. The CNA provides routine personal care under supervision, maintains a safe environment, and supports the mission of the facilities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, active CNA certification in Virginia/West Virginia as applicable, and BLS. The role may involve precepting new CNAs as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be listed on the Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider) required prior to orientation.
• Must understand basic principles of human growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine personal care duties for patients under supervision of a RN or LPN.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems.
• May act as a preceptor in orientation of new CNAs.
