Job summary

HonorHealth’s Thompson Peak Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Day shift Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit-C3. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care guided by ANA standards, including patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, IV therapy, and ongoing education for patients and families.

This role supports clinical knowledge advancement and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN with 1 year med-surg or acute specialty setting required
• All Diploma and ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience at hire time
• Stroke education requirements for staff with stroke responsibilities; PRIOR TO START
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect health data systematically to develop, implement, and revise patient care plans
• Identify outcomes and develop plans of care individualized to patient needs
• Initiate treatments, medications, IVs, and therapies as ordered
• Document patient progress and evaluative data to ensure quality care
• Evaluate nursing practice against standards and regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient care delivery
• Incorporate ethical principles and cultural diversity into practice
• Precept and mentor new staff and students
• Assist staff and students in completing competency requirements
• Strive to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice

Education

BSN within 60 months of hire

Associates or Diploma in Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) Preferred
