Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time, 12-hour day shift position. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide safe, effective, and culturally competent nursing care for patients with acute medical and surgical needs.

• Must hold Iowa RN license and active state certification.
• Associate degree in nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS optional if telemetry is present.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and culturally competent care for acute medical/surgical patients.
• Coordinate with care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document care and communicate with physicians, patients, and families.
