Job summary
Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for a Per Diem position on the Medical/Telemetry Unit with a convenient days shift. The RN will provide safe, compassionate care in a patient-centered environment, focusing on quality and service excellence.
The opportunity supports growth within a major health system. Qualified candidates will have an accredited RN program diploma, Nevada RN license, BLS and ACLS certificates, and relevant acute care experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS certificate.
- Current ACLS certificate.
- Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
- Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
- Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet patient/family needs.
