Job summary

Mercy is seeking registered nurses to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring confidentiality and patient rights. You will coordinate care with other departments and support a cardiac/medical population on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Shifts run 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am with weekend rotation; full-time or part-time roles are available. Sign-on bonuses for night shifts, education assistance, and relocation benefits are offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate or upcoming graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
